Information and consent notice for the use of the Careveo platform

  1. Purpose of this notice

The purpose of this notice is to inform you, in a clear and transparent manner, about how your personal data, including your health data, is collected, processed and protected when you use the services offered by the Careveo platform (website, mobile application, medical cabins, etc.).

  1. Who is responsible for processing your data?

  1. Why is your data collected?

Careveo collects and processes your personal data in order to:

  • Create and manage your user or professional account;
  • Enable you to book a medical appointment, teleconsultation or health check-up;
  • populate and secure your electronic medical record;
  • Manage payments and billing;
  • Ensure quality follow-up, improve service and guarantee the security of your data;
  • Produce anonymized statistics for research, evaluation or service improvement purposes.
  1. What data is collected?

Depending on your use, Careveo may collect :

  • Your identification data (surname, first name, telephone number, email address, date of birth, etc.) ;
  • Administrative and payment data;
  • Your health data (symptoms, history, medical results, prescriptions, biometric constants from the cabin, etc.);
  • Your connection data (date, time, appointment history, messages, shared documents, logs, etc.).
  1. What is the legal basis for this processing?

Processing is based on :

  • Your explicit consent, in particular for health data;
  • The performance of yourcontract with Careveo;
  • Legal and regulatoryobligations (traceability, security, etc.);
  • Careveo'slegitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure service.
  1. Who has access to your data?

Your data is only accessible to authorized persons:

  • Healthcare professionals involved in your care;
  • Careveo's technical teams, strictly within the framework of their mission;
  • Third parties you have explicitly designated (relatives, caregivers, companies, NGOs, etc.).

No personal data will be passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.

  1. Where is your data stored?

Your data is hosted locally in the country of collection (France or Cameroon), on secure servers that comply with:

  • RGPD for Europe (HDS approved host in France) ;
  • Law n°2010/012 of December 21, 2010 in Cameroon, on cybersecurity and personal data protection.

No transfer outside France without appropriate legal guarantees.

  1. How long is your data kept?

Data is kept for :

  • 10 years for health data, in accordance with legal obligations;
  • 3 years for browsing data, unless you object;
  • Until you request deletion, in compliance with legal and medical constraints.
  1. What are your rights?

You have the following rights:

  • Right of access to your data;
  • The right to rectify inaccurate data;
  • Right toerasure, except where data retention is mandatory;
  • Right to limit orobject to processing;
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time;
  • Right to data portability.

  1. Consent

By accessing or using Careveo services, you expressly consent to your data, including health data, being processed under the conditions set out above. You may withdraw this consent at any time, which will result in the deactivation of your account and the termination of the associated Careveo services.
